Low-cost Spay and Neuter Program

   All residents of Orange County, Florida can use the Low-cost Spay and Neuter Clinic for their personal pets.  Orange County residents with a Gold Medicaid card can have their personal pets spayed/neutered at no charge.  (This changed when the ordinance was changed last year)

Mobile Clinic:

   OCAS also operates a Mobile clinic that can take friendly cats and small dogs. They visit several locations throughout the county on a regular basis. you can get a current listing of locations and dates by calling the main number below. Chose the option for Spay neuter information, then the Mobile clinic then the schedule.  The message will also give you all details on how the system works.

   Female dogs that are pregnant or in heat cannot be safely spayed. Large dogs must be taken to the clinic. If for any reason you cannot pick up the animal at the time they tell you to (currently 3 PM) You must use the main clinic instead.

   This is the current list of locations that the clinic visits. OCAS May change this at any time, refer to recording for the current schedule.

Service costs are as follows:

  • Male Cat or Kitten - $10.00
  • Female Cat or Kitten - $20.00
  • Male Dog or Puppy - $15.00
  • Female Dog or Puppy - $25.00
  • Rabies Vaccination (only available at sterilization appointment) - $5.00
